Rubies

Rubies is a company founded in the early ’50 in Woodhaven, Queens and it started as a small shop called “Rubies Candy Store” which in 1959 became “Rubies Fun House” which expanded into novelty items and accessories. Starting the flower power era, almost 200 lines of costumes were available for rental and they haven’t stopped since, now having over 5000 lines, supplying the Hollywood market and having stores all over the world.

This well known brand has kept its fast growing pace by following the movie and music trends and producing costumes for fancy dress parties with themes like “Avatar”, “Batman”, “Indiana Jones”, “Harry Potter” and even “Lady Gaga”.
